MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING MINUTES
Date: September 9, 2019
The meeting was opened at 7:00 pm with President
Robert Casey presiding. Opening ceremonies were
conducted.
Roll Call
All officers were present. There were a total of 12
members present. Our membership has now
increased to nineteen members. Ken Belles joined
this month.
Meeting Minutes:
The minutes from the May 6th and June 3rd
meetings were read and accepted as read.
Financial Report for March:
Beginning Balance: $554.28 checking and $45.12
petty cash
Total Income: $25.00
Total Debit: $0
Ending Balance: $624.40
Old Business:
The speaker for the Monday, October 7th,
meeting will be Alicia Burden, a representative of
the Service Department of the VA Clinic in
Riverview. She will give a short presentation and
then have a Q and A session with the members.
All Veterans are invited with their spouses to an
informal “Meet the Speaker” get together at 6:30
pm. The Club will provide coffee, iced tea and
sodas. We are going to ask the members to bring
appetizers for the get-together before the meeting.
New Business:
Veterans Day ceremonies were discussed with no
definite plans set at this time.
General Open Discussion
Closing:
donated it back to the group. The total 50/50
drawing was $44.00. The next meeting will be on
Monday October 7, 2019, 7:00 pm in the main
room of the AC. Come before 6:30 for the ‘Meet
the Speaker’ get-together.
The meeting was closed at 8:10 pm.
