MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING MINUTES
Date: April 5, 2021
The meeting was opened at 6:05 pm with Club President Bob Casey presiding. The meeting was held at the Golden Corral Restaurant to hold our Spring Fling, a spring part to show our appreciation to the women close to our veterans’ members.
Roll Call
All officers were present. A total of 26 people was present to attend the Spring Fling.
Meeting Minutes:
No minutes were read.
Financial Report:
Being Balance $920.14
Income $92.00 (50/50 drawing and member dues)
Ending Balance $1012.14
Old Business:
The dinner was started by Bob Casey who in turn asked the Chaplain, Neal Miller, to say a prayer. After that was completed, all proceed to the buffet for the dinner to start.
All women attending received a small plant as an appreciation for putting up with us veterans for so long.
The dinner ended at 7:30 pm. All in attendance said they had a good time.
New Business:
Eleven members attended the funeral of Harry H. Stewart on April 1st. He was a long-term member of the old Veterans Club and had served 14 years as it’s Chaplain.
Closing:
The next regular meeting will be on Monday, May 3, 2021, at 7:00 pm in the main room of the AC.
