MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING MINUTES
Date: January 6, 2020
The meeting was opened at 7:05 pm with President Robert Casey presiding. Opening ceremonies were conducted.
Roll Call
All officers, except Michael Adams, were present. A total of 15 members were present.
Meeting Minutes:
The minutes of the November meeting were read and accepted as read.
Financial Report:
No report was given.
Old Business:
The schedule for this year was reviewed. Memorial Day ceremonies will be held on Monday, May 25th and coordinated by Larry Caplinger. Flag day is on June 14th, but the ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 13th. The coordinator is Harry Dunlap. Veterans Day ceremonies will be held on Wednesday, November 11th and will be coordinated by Bob Casey. We will also have our Party Nights two or three times this year. The first will be at our regular April meeting on Monday, April 6th.
New Business:
The Veterans Group will be handling the donuts and drawing at the HMO Saturday meetings in February and March. Remember, the annual $5.00 dues are to be paid this month.
Closing:
James Flack Jr won the 50/50 drawing and donated it back to the Group. The total 50/50 drawing was $60.00. A motion to adjourn was given by Harry Dunlap and seconded by Tom Beckmeyer. The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 pm.
